In this post I'm going to briefly describe the topics of this interview from BlogTalkRadio Innovation Insider show. The host of Innovation Insider is Russ Catronovo and his guest is Aaron Walsh.The discussion is about Web 2.0 and the Media grid. In this interview Aaron describes what is the Mediagrid and talks about Immersive Education.
Some of the topics Aaron discusses is Teaching the Teachers, taking technology out to users that would usually not have gotten this information through a virtual environment. Making the media or information available and accessible to all, and the 4 S principle. Aaron also talks about 3D technology and the different platforms that the Immersive Education uses.
Platforms that are currently being used are MPK20, Project Wonderland, Project Darkstar, and Second Life.
