Immersive Education Interview

In this post I'm going to briefly describe the topics of this interview from BlogTalkRadio Innovation Insider show. The host of Innovation Insider is Russ Catronovo and his guest is Aaron Walsh.
The discussion is about Web 2.0 and the Media grid. In this interview Aaron describes what is the Mediagrid and talks about Immersive Education.
Some of the topics Aaron discusses is Teaching the Teachers, taking technology out to users that would usually not have gotten this information through a virtual environment. Making the media or information available and accessible to all, and the 4 S principle. Aaron also talks about 3D technology and the different platforms that the Immersive Education uses.
Platforms that are currently being used are MPK20, Project Wonderland, Project Darkstar, and Second Life.

After all that sight seeing and walking. I found a nice campsite and decided to grab some Zzzz's. Fire was nice and the outdoors was peaceful. That's it for Bradburyville.

Next i took to the sky to get a view of the island and see if there was any sights. Came across a amusement park. It had a huge Farris wheel a house of mirrors and a Mary go around. Went into the house of mirrors and got lost in a maze for a couple of mins.

So Sam's Hot Dog stand got me hungry so I went looking for some food. Stumbled into a car repair shop with a couple vending machines. Had a wide selection of snacks so i helped myslef to a few.

Not everyday that you find a martian hot dog stand. Hate hot dogs but I still went into check it out. Inside was a cool juke box that played sci-fi music.

While walking around this sight i saw a flying saucer circling a building. Didn't want to get abducted so I kept a good distance away.

In Bradburyville a island in Second Life. This place was very confusing and strange for me. I guess this guy Ray Bradbury is an author, and this place has all the books he wrote. Got stuck in some wierd places at this sight.

This is a Second Life pic of the Lincoln Library. The lady in the purple dress is a greater that answers any questions you might have about this location.

Flying view of the White House and the flag. It is amazing to see the detail that was put into this place. On the top of the stairs is the presidetial seal ingraved into the marble steps.

This is me sitting on the steps of the White House in the Land of Linclon. Took a tour of the inside and it had all the rooms with the themes and differant colors. Tried to take some pics but the reslotion kept messing up the pictures.
